Desgrippes Gobé

Desgrippes Gobé was created in Paris in 1971 per Joel Desgrippes.

Since 1985 the agency developed with international with the opening from an office in New York.

Joel Desgrippes, having quickly recognized the strategic importance of a world network, opens four offices in Asia - Tokyo (1991), Seoul (1994), HongKong (2001) and Shanghai (2005), and reinforces his presence in Europe with an office in Brussels (1998).

In 2001, Desgrippes Gobé joined the global area network Design Partnership (IDP) and immediately ties strategic relations with Laga to collaborate on transverse projects of branding.

Joel Desgrippes began his career in publicity as Artistic Director at Plas and Dupuy Compton.

Graduate of Graphic arts, first of his promotion, it impassions for the design via the creation of bottles of perfumes the universe of the luxury.

Joel Desgrippes is the founder and Directeur of Creation of Desgrippes Gobé, arranges founded in 1971 in Paris and which developed with the international one.

Many voyages in Asia and Europe led it to discover the customs of various countries and thus sharpened its direction of the design and its role to be played near the marks.

Joel Desgrippes is recognized to have taken part to invent the model of the agency of modern design: “Raymond Loewy almost very invented in the design, but there was no model for a multi-field agency.

Laga

Laga was founded in Cincinnati in 1947 by the illustrator Sam Lipson. With the passing of years, under the direction of Stevan Lipson, Howard Alport and Allan Glass (of which the initial ones form the name of the company), Laga was affirmed as arranges design and of innovation proposing with its customers solutions of branding, produced and packagings.

Laga developed by opening offices in Chicago (1975) and New York (1993).

In 1992, Laga creates the global area network Design Partnership (IDP), a world resource in marketing and design present in Europe, in South Africa, in the Pacific and in America.

The success of Laga in branding for the products of great consumption was built thanks to its strategic vision of the design to accompany the marks towards success.

Jim Barrett

Before joining Laga, Jim Barrett spent 22 years at Ernst and Young Consulting.

Jim Barret joined Laga in 2005 as chairman.
